Terms & Conditions of Purchase
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from i-Thrive Well-being Ltd. By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Rescheduling Policy
- Up to 24 hours before: Free rescheduling.
- 24-12 hours before: Re-booking fee of 10% of value of booked service
- 12-6 hours before: Re-booking fee of 25% of value of booked service
- 6-0 hours before: Re-booking fee of 50% of value of booked service
- Past the appointment start time: Non-reschedulable; the appointment is forfeited.
- For example if your service costs £100 the re-booking fees would be as follows:
- Up to 24 hours before: no fee
- 24-12 hours before: £10 fee
- 12-6 hours before: £25 fee
- 6-0 hours before: £50 fee
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the appointment for a full refund.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are forfeited and non-refundable. This is necessary given it is unlikely we will be able to reschedule that appointment slot on such short notice.
- If a customer has already started a service, they are no longer eligible for a refund for any remaining unused portion.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we will accommodate your full appointment where possible. However, we may need to shorten the consultation phase or reschedule, subject to our rescheduling policy.
Booking & Appointments
- Bookings can be made online via our booking portal at www.i-thrive.uk , by email booking@i-thrive.uk, telephone 01483904531 or in person at our centre.
- Due to staff availability or illness, we may need to change the consultant handling your appointment.
- In case of equipment malfunction or if we are unable to complete a test, we will offer a partial refund equivalent to the missed test’s value or, if applicable, a full refund for bundled services.
Service Expiry & Substitutions
- The purchase of any service expires 12 months from the purchase date. A booking must be made before this time.
- Services can be substituted for another service of equivalent value, provided notice is given and scheduling allows.
- If a customer is unable to undergo a scheduled service due to eligibility issues, we may allow substitution for an alternative service, subject to availability.
- Services are not transferrable to other people
Promotions & Discounts
- Only one coupon code or promotional discount may be applied per purchase.
- Discounts cannot be applied to Gift Cards or payments made using Klarna or other financing options.
Consumer Rights & Cooling-Off Period
- Refunds for change of mind within the 14-day cooling-off period will be honoured.
- By booking a service within the 14-day cooling-off period, you confirm that you waive your statutory right to cancel, as permitted under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Liability & Disclaimer
- Our test results are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions based on test results.
- i-Thrive Well-being Ltd is not responsible for medical decisions made solely based on our service results.
- i-Thrive Well-being Ltd does not assume liability for any misinterpretation of test results by third parties or clients.
- Clients undertake exercise-based tests at their own risk, and we are not liable for injuries, illnesses, or conditions that arise during or after testing.
DEXA Scans – Special Conditions
As DEXA scanning is a regulated activity, clients must:
- Sign a disclaimer and justification form before the scan is authorised and conducted
- Confirm they have not had a DEXA scan in the last 6 weeks and no more than 6 scans in the last 12 months.
- Confirm they can lie still for 3-4 minutes.
- Confirm they have no reason to suspect pregnancy.
If a client does not meet the eligibility criteria, we may:
- Offer an alternative scan where appropriate.
- Reschedule the scan for a later date.
VO₂ Max and Exercise Testing – Special Conditions
- Clients must arrive prepared for exercise, wearing suitable gym attire and appropriate footwear (e.g., running shoes).
- Failure to bring proper clothing or footwear may result in a substituted non-exercise test or forfeiture of the appointment.
- Clients must complete a medical questionnaire prior to their VO₂ Max test.
- If the medical assessment suggests contraindications, we may:
- Refuse to proceed with the test.
- Offer a substitute scan or a credit voucher for future use.
Data Privacy & Compliance
- We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- All client data is securely stored and processed in line with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms & Conditions
- i-Thrive Well-being Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
